Our Story
George's Appliance has been a servicer of the Lynchburg area since 1984. Originally, The Major Appliance Repair Center was started and run by George Jones Jr. and his business partner Bill Blankenship. George Jr. and his son George III provided service together during the company's early years.
After taking over George III changed the name to George's Appliance Sales and Service and began selling appliances as well as still providing repair. We are still family run and while we no longer sell appliances regularly we strive to continue servicing the Lynchburg area for years to come.
What We Do
We service most major appliances with a few exceptions.
The most common we take on are refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers, microwaves, and washers and dryers.
We do not service LG or Samsung products. Most other brands are in our wheelhouse.
